How it works
Filan® ends fungal growth by preventing energy production, stopping disease in the early stages of development.
When Filan is applied to the leaf most of it remains bound to the leaf surface to provide protection at the point of contact, but a portion of the applied active ingredient is taken up by the leaf and moves through the leaf tissue to the other side of the leaf. That ability to move systemically in plants means Filan is able to protect parts of a treated leaf that were not exposed to the original spray application. The end result is higher levels of disease control, even when spray coverage is less than optimal.
